Sjöstrand and Maria Nilsdotter gathered in the heart of Stockholm to celebrate a new chapter for Maria Nilsdotter, as the Swedish fashion house opened its new space at Nordiska Kompaniet.

Our relationship with Maria Nilsdotter goes back to a shared appreciation for thoughtful design and craftsmanship. The collaboration previously resulted in a limited-edition Sjöstrand capsule machine, bringing together two distinct expressions of Swedish design in one object.

So when Maria Nilsdotter opened the doors to its new home at NK, it felt natural to be part of the occasion once again.

Throughout the day, we welcomed visitors outside Nordiska Kompaniet, serving freshly brewed coffee from Sjöstrand’s capsule coffee machines. Using Sjöstrand coffee capsules, we shared a simple coffee moment with visitors stopping by to celebrate the opening.

In the middle of Stockholm, between coffee breaks and conversations, it was a reminder of what collaborations can create - bringing different worlds together through Swedish design, craftsmanship and everyday rituals.

We are happy to have shared this moment with Maria Nilsdotter and the team, and look forward to seeing what comes next.
