We are proud to share that Sjöstrand The Original 2.0 has been named Product of the Year 2026, receiving the main award in the jury-based competition by Prisjakt and Bäst-i-test.se. The Original was also awarded gold in the category Kitchen Product of the Year.

The jury highlighted the machine’s high quality, timeless design and functionality, but also something that has been part of Sjöstrand from the beginning: designing for the long term.

Rather than creating a coffee machine made to be replaced, The Original 2.0 is designed to stay in use. Its repairable construction and replaceable components make it possible to maintain and repair the machine over time, extending its lifespan and reducing the need for replacement.

The jury also highlighted the broader sustainability ambition behind the product, from the machine itself to the use of compostable coffee capsules.

For us, this recognition is about more than an award.
